SHAPING NATURE
You have never been to these places or seen these almost real images but they are all captured in the new exhibit at Adam Cave Fine Art opening on First Friday, June 5th. Four artists, working in four different mediums, play with nature to stimulate the eye and inspire gentle spirits to the surface of your mind. Devin Burgess translates spring bulbs and tubulars into lightning green glass growing stemmed forms. Kim Ellen Kauffman vividly zooms in on Midwestern botanical specimens creating unusual collaged compositions. Brian Kiernan paints glowing fantasies of Northeastern woodlands in brilliant colors. Katherine McGinn whimsically interprets North Carolina flora and fauna with subtle color and surprising shapes.
