Andrew Stasik studied art at New York University, Columbia University, and the University of Iowa with Mauricio Lasansky. He went on to receive his MFA from Ohio University in 1956.  Stasik was a visiting critic to the printmaking department at Yale University as well as the Director of the Pratt Graphics Center and the Silvermine Gallery. He exhibited widely throughout his career and his works are in the public collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Cleveland, the Museum of  Fine Arts, Budapest Hungary, National Museum, Krakow Poland, to name a few..
